      • Computed design and strength of materials calculations in Mathcad for structural components of tuned mass damper (TMD) and tuned sloshing damper (TSD) systems used in high rise buildings given simulated/measured dynamic loads • Designed a lockout and pull test system layout for a TMD project using SolidWorks, performed Mathcad calculations to determine sizing and selection of rigging components based on expected building acceleration and TMD displacement • Generated TSD paddles with DriveWorks and modified sectional geometry in SolidWorks to optimize material usage while ensuring all structural members and connections met AISC Load Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) criteria in Mathcad • Prepared design loads drawings and calculations packages for TSD projects in correspondence with clients and the structural dynamics team to ensure clear communication of design intent and timely delivery of concept design reports • Conducted finite element analysis of the lower tuning block assembly on a TMD project using SolidWorks Simulation, generated static stress and deflection plots and documented the results for 6 separate load case studies Show less
