      Volunteered for a great many more months, and was honored to be chosen to work as a paid "volunteer" or on call worker for the fill time staff that were taking vacations. At this site i also was a stipend recipient for the AmeriCorps, as i completed over 300 hours active call reponses. My services included:Answer calls for Alcohol and Drug Help Line; Suicide Crisis Intervention Line; Military Help Line in effort to reduce self harm and refer to appropriate resources. Use basic counseling to promote healthy choice making and safety plans. Show less
