  Volunteered for a great many more months, and was honored to be chosen to work as a paid "volunteer" or on call worker for the fill time staff that were taking vacations. At this site i also was a stipend recipient for the AmeriCorps, as i completed over 300 hours active call reponses. My services included:Answer calls for Alcohol and Drug Help Line; Suicide Crisis Intervention Line; Military Help Line in effort to reduce self harm and refer to appropriate resources.   Work with other volunteers and staff to help produce change in the lives of patients and learn new means to deal with their mental health circumstances as they look to themselves before medication. Strive to build and keep boundaries with all clients that were under my care as a mentor/helper. Worked with my peers to find their measure of successful living and support positive choice making. Work with a caring team whose goal was the enrichment the mentally disabled populations lives.

Worked with Program Director to establish service agenda and measure engagement of clients in an IDDS model of treatment. Development of interventions, and additional services was a collaboration between counselor, director, and myself.
