    • Woodside Energy

      Feb 2018 - now

Whilst working as a Completion Engineer, I have consistently delivered outstanding results on complex design and execution work scopes across multiple projects. These roles have enabled accelerated development of my technical proficiencies and leadership capabilities, complimenting my expertise in lower completion and fluid design. Key deliverables have included:• World-Class performance on GWF-3 Development Campaign.• Successful execution of first dual zone completion for GWF-3 as Offshore Gravel Pack Engineer.• Progression of infill well design / planning through compressed well lifecycle as Completion focal.• Challenged convention and gained endorsement for removal of MODU Well Unload, resulting in significant cost and process safety risk reduction.• Development of operational guidelines and associated well acceptance criteria.• Implemented improved barrier diagram processes which were subsequently adopted throughout the wider function to enhance process safety.• Development of well performance benchmarking platform to facilitate continuous improvement, drive performance culture and streamline offset reviews. Show less By demonstrating my operational understanding and knowledge of well construction principles, I was rewarded with the opportunity to become the youngest Well Services Supervisor within Woodside. While offshore throughout the 2021 Ocean Apex Campaign, notable achievements included:• Management of complex intervention activities to complete Yodel-4 P&A in less than 2 weeks.• Design and implementation of well kill programs.• Successful execution of smart well completions, managing reduced crews and limited experience.• Troubleshooting inoperable equipment to rapidly identify solutions and adapt forward plan.• Leveraging vendor relationships / rig interfaces to safely and efficiently achieve well objectives. Show less During the Woodside graduate program, I spent much of my time working on the Julimar Development – Phase 2 (JDP2). As a result, I gained exposure to the entire well lifecycle, from concept definition through to execution. This enabled me to take complete ownership of fluid design and lower completion equipment selection, while also building a strong technical foundation. Deliverables include:• Design, qualification, and successful execution of World’s hottest dual zone open hole gravel pack.• Leading fluid design for high temperature applications (RDIF and GP carrier fluids)• New technology qualification of erosion and pressure tolerant equipment• Well deliverability analysis and subsequent well optimisation.• Tubing Stress Analysis and corresponding integrity assessments.• Development of WBCU, SAS and Well Performance Modelling best practice documents.• Revision of the Worst-Case Discharge Modelling procedure to clarify and streamline processes.• Placement in Karratha during deck testing and subsea VXT installation.
