      During my week at IBM, I shadowed a Global CIO Partner, in the London Tribe working on internal facing products. I was responsible for developing test scripts to analyse the UX from a user perspective, and worked with the idea generation team to discuss potential features and problem fixes with relation to design.IBM operates under an agile environment, so I used my skills as a dynamic, collaborative member alongside my knowledge from agile training to fit in with the team practises. Being such a large multinational, it was also important to apply skills in patience and clear and concise messaging to get what you needed from who you needed, without wasting their time whilst taking consideration of different time zones and work cultures. At the end of the week, I delivered a presentation to the team, which required good presentation and delivery skills to execute an impactful, relevant talk. Show less

      reached the regional finals of the Young Enterprise Competition 2017-2018Won 'Best Company' at both local and county heatsOur books take a traditional fairytale and rewrite them with a modern twist with the aim of reversing taught prejudices. These were a huge success, receiving endorsements from Stonewall, Peter Tatchell and Miriam Margolyes, among others, and sold across 4 countries, as well as featuring on BBC News. Before restructured as a social enterprise, the business formed part of a Young Enterprise Competition in which we ended up reaching the regional final, among other prizes. We are now a multi-award winning enterprise, available in 7 languages and in picture book, audiobook, and e-book version to increase access to as many people as possible. Show less

      I was fully funded by the United States Embassy to attend this female leadership conference in Boston, MA for 2 weeks. During the program, we were educated at Harvard Univerity and Babson College, as well as learning from organisations including Converse, and presenting our action plans at the Massachusettes State House.
