Laura works in the Oil & Gas department of Black & Veatch as a Process Engineer. In this position, she assists in developing simulations and documents such as Process Flow Diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams, Heat & Material Balances, Equipment Data Sheets, etc. She has recently been focused in Floating Liquefied Natural Gas applications. More specifically, Laura has been working on the EXMAR FLRSU, which will be the world's first floating LNG barge.

      Gastech Young Engineer's Foundation Essay Contest Winner Gastech Governing Body mars 2014 Laura was selected as a member of the first class of the Gastech Young Engineer's Foundation (GYEF) as well as the winner of the GYEF Essay Competition. One hundred engineers world-wide were selected for the foundation through an application process. As the winner of the Essay Competition, Laura was given the opportunity to speak at the Gastech 2014 conference making her the youngest person to ever present at the Gastech conference.
