      Responsible for the management and execution of an annual performing arts festival and year-round work to strengthen and build relationships with Minnesota’s arts community, local businesses and corporations, and foundations as well as ensure that the organization is an active member of the communities it serves. Includes operational oversight, financial management, development, marketing, and communications direction. Minnesota Fringe Festival is one of the oldest and largest performance art festivals in the United States. Its mission is to promote freedom and diversity of artistic expression by linking adventurous artists with adventurous audiences. The eleven day celebration takes place annually in late summer at various venues, draws nearly 50,000 audience members to see 1000 artists produce dozens of shows in every discipline and genre. Minnesota Fringe Festival is proud to be part of a worldwide tradition of fringe festivals that originated in 1947 in Edinburgh, Scotland and a founding member of the United States Association of Fringe Festivals (USAFF).
