  -Hand selected to overhaul a struggling division which ultimately led to the division and department returning to the highest readiness and being recognized as best on the waterfront 2 years in a row.-Led a department of 3 divisions with a total of 30 personnel, conducting training and qualified junior personnel in watch standing, maintenance and day-to-day operation of sophisticated submarine weapons systems. -Managed a work center responsible for performing organizational and intermediate level maintenance and quality assurance on test and gage calibration equipment, launching/firing systems, electro-mechanical systems and stowage facilities associated with underwater ordnance. Managed product quality to guarantee compliance with quality policies, procedures, and systems.-Determined adjustment and certification methods, formulas, and measuring instruments required based on blueprints. -Planned and executed organizational maintenance on underwater ordnance and launching systems allowing continuous at sea operations with zero equipment down time. Performed preliminary, in-process, and final product inspections on high and low pressure air systems, water, hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems.-Conducted formal classroom curriculum, workshops and seminars to develop a highly trained weapons handling team of 30 personnel which successfully performed duties during real world operations. -Developed and implemented the technical accuracy of controlled work and established formal work packages detailing corrective and preventative maintenance procedures.
