  Securing a position during my academic pursuits is truly noteworthy, particularly when it aligns with your own studies. As a student assistant, my responsibilities encompass sample collection from the Swabian Alps, conducting density measurements, crushing into various sizes, sieving, and analyzing sediments, specifically focusing on elements like Beryllium and Chlorine and their isotopes.Utilizing diverse radiation techniques, I will determine the precise atomic composition of these sediments. The investigation into the behavior of sediments under high beam rays will provide insights into the erosion rate of the Swabian Alps and the isotopic behavior of these sediments in nuclear explosions.This research aims to identify an optimal location for the disposal of Germany's nuclear waste by understanding the erosion rate.
