  Orchestrated IAM role assumption strategies, enhancing security protocols. This approach eliminates the need to create security credentials (For Lambdas) and also an IAM user can be allowed to access multiple AWS accounts in the organisation.Implemented successful migrations of both Web Applications and databases to AWS from Rackspace, optimizing performance and scalability. Collaborated with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and ensure a seamless transition.Developed a comprehensive Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions using Terraform scripts. Leveraging Terraform's infrastructure as code (IaC) capabilities, I orchestrated the development and configuration of DR environments, ensuring the rapid and automated provisioning of resources in the event of a system failure. Show less As the management and engineering team decided to migrate a platform of the product from Azure to AWS, I took it as an opportunity to put my skills at test by playing a key role in the migration.I was instrumental in configuring Snowflake data warehouse to the AWS cloud environment.I was honored with the task to decommission the cloud environment of Rackspace VMs and storage and migrate cloud storage to AWS which was completed on time. During this task, I played a key role in decommissioning cloud VMs and migrating them to the dedicated environment of Rackspace. For the cloud storage migration, I added a new skill by using Rclone. I have since mastered it to transfer data between different cloud storages for different operations.I played an important role in configuring AWS S3 as the cloud storage for our product and its integration with the application with the engineering team.I had developed a great rapport with engineering, operations and HR departments in United States of America and had been SPOC to assist them. I often attended meetings with Engineers and clients (Engineers/Directors of IT) when required.I trained in Terraform IAC to create and maintain infrastructure on AWS. Along with the Sr Director of IT, I have automated the security of AWS workspaces and a meeting application used for the product.With Terraform I automated the creation and destruction of resources required to maintain AWS workspaces which were earlier done on the console.We have achieved the goal to reduce usage of AWS console for infrastructure development. Show less My ability to quickly grasp the operations of the organization impressed my superiors who encouraged me to look over the infrastructure management of our cloud environment hosted in Rackspace. I had gained invaluable knowledge on how the organization's cloud infrastructure was developed and is being managed by Rackspace by attending meetings for procuring, maintaining and modifying resources for cloud operations.While managing the cloud operations, I also assisted the regular operations of the organization as I could and took the challenge of working from home for a business that required on-premises operations during the COVID-19 lockdown.I worked hand-in-hand with the Engineering teams to maintain a healthy database and application and have acted as a liaison between the Engineering and Infrastructure team by maintaining a healthy rapport and active human relations.I was instrumental in implementing AWS workspaces as an alternative solution so the employees could work on a minimum of three virtual machines on a desktop/laptop. I was also a key member of the production outage meetings that had occurred and was instrumental in procuring infrastructure that met client as well as the organization's requirements.Though I never had any experience with SQL, I quickly grasped its basics and can perform operations related to the operations which also helps me to work with DBAs and engineers. Though my role on paper was Jr Network Engineer, my ability to manage Cloud operations was given much preference which promoted me to my next position.I tested my boundaries by training in AWS and was certified as Cloud Practitioner in March 2021.
