  Working 8 hour shifts, starting at 6 am and going until 2 pm, and sometimes worked 16 hour shifts from 6 am until 10 pm. I woke up residents, cleaned, dressed, and readied them for their day. Once all of the residents were up, we then served them breakfast, helping those who needed help eating. I then would shower my assigned residents for the day, and put those who need to go back to bed in bed. Throughout the day I took the residents to the washroom, and took care of any other need they needed help with. And at the end of the day I was responsible for filling out reports of what they accomplished for the day, and then had to file them away with the rest of their files. Show less

  Averaging about 16 hours a week at minimum wage, I worked as a cashier trying to sell customers on signing up for credit cards, and explaining our policies when questioned. I was also in charge of cleaning the store before opening or after closing, and I also straightened and put back clothes. There was a lot of interaction involved with the customer and coworkers getting to know each other and working as a team.

  Working 8 hour shifts, from either 6:30 am till 3 pm, 3 pm until 11 pm, or 11 pm until 7 am. Shifts varied depending on what shift I covered for coworkers, usually worked every weekend. I took care of 20 residents a day, helping them maintain hygiene, exercise for the day, range of motion activities, help feed themselves, and other daily activities. At the end of each shift I was responsible to report on each resident, and how they acted for the day and if there were any abnormalities.

  Was the top cashier for a month straight. Averaged about 20 hours a week at minimum wage. Worked mainly as a cashier, but also worked the fitting room, and cleaned the store. I was always interacting with the customers helping them find what they needed, and helping them decide if it was what they wanted. I still work there during school breaks.
