      I was accepted to an international exchange program through the Notre Dame Band. During the summer between my Freshmand and Sophomore years in college, I fostered my love of music and a passion for teaching through teaching general music education classes and giving private instrument lessons at Lindisfarne College and Hastings Girls' High in New Zealand.
