Restaurants and stores used the CRM to manage their operations, while regular customers accessed the frontend application to book deliveries to their addresses. Additionally, an Android application was developed to support drivers in managing deliveries. I developed the backend from scratch to support these functionalities. - Backend Development: Built with Laravel, implementing dependency injection, service definitions, queues, and a REST API for the frontend and Android application. - Client-Facing Portal: Developed using React and its popular libraries, including Redux, Redux Form, and Redux Saga. - Background Processing: Leveraged Laravel Queues, Laravel Forge, and Redis for efficient background task handling. - Data Persistence: Managed with PostgreSQL. - Search Functionality: Utilized Redis geospatial indexes to find the closest drivers in the area. - Deployment: Handled through Laravel Forge. - Notifications & Driver Tracking: Implemented PubNub WebSockets and functions to deliver notifications and publish driver's locations, which were saved in PostgreSQL and Redis via REST API endpoint.
