Inspected construction activities in the following area: Installation of cofferdams, common and structural excavation, concrete formwork, reinforcing steel installation, placement and finishing of concrete, curing of concrete, superstructure shoring, backfilling of excavations, roadway construction including fine grading and placement of subbase courses, erosion prevention and sediment control, placement of slope and channel stabilizing stone fill, traffic control, river management, sampling and testing of concrete, guardrail and bridge-rail installation, etc. Additionally was responsible for project survey including horizontal layout and the verification of slopes, grades and elevations. Worked extensively on both Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build contracts. Further responsible for the computation of construction quantities, formulation of record plans, management of materials testing and certification requirements, technical report writing, drafting of Change Orders and RFI's, data entry, formal review of construction and design submittals, review of quality control plans, development of submittal tracking documents, developing spreadsheets.
