      • Oversee adherence to the appropriate policies, processes, procedures and LCME Standards in the area of development and delivery of the M1/M2 curriculum, educational and student support initiatives. • Plan, implement, manage, and direct support of M1/M2 curricular requirements, biomedical science modules, integrated practice of medicine and distinction tracks, data management, record keeping and reporting.• Provide administrative and support service activities for first- and second-year medical students.• Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed and assures compliance with all UofSCSOMG and LCME requirements for the 1st and 2nd year medical student education, while supporting medical student modules and assessment.• Oversee three Curriculum Coordinators and one Assistant Coordinator. • Serve as the knowledge expert for 1st and 2nd year educational programming.• Assess current program design and recommends revisions to existing procedures, policy, etc.• Manages support for the student evaluation process for the M1/M2 years and oversees the maintenance and continuous improvement of a learning management system with the development of in-service training workshops and guidance for users.• Participate in ensuring the progress, implementation and execution of the Curriculum Inventory Report and aspects of the SOMG strategic plan related to curriculum. • Partake in management decision making through interpreting policies and rules surrounding special projects and committee management.- Created and manage the First-Generation Program for our FG medical students (approx. 20% of our population) -FirstGenForward grant recipient, 2024 Show less
