Provide direction and accountability for industry partners and optimized use of $76M budget. Oversee contract actions worth $310M. Supervise a 230 person blended workforce consisting of 35 active duty, 115 civil servants and 80 contractors. Responsible for newly provisioned aircraft test and evaluations every 17 days as well as flight crew readiness in support of post-depot maintenance test flights. MH65 Aircraft Commander responsible for the safe conduct of flight and aircrew of four during cross-country ferry flight deliveries and on-time PDM inductions. Show less The Industrial Operations Division (IOD) is the primary provider of all aviation component manufacturing, repair, prototyping and reverse engineering. Each day, IOD repairs 500 components and manufactures 100 parts that supports the programmed depot level restoration of the Coast Guards 200 airframes, every four years. IOD's mission is to support mission execution through industrial excellence. Our strategy is to recapitalize and maintain infrastructure, invest in training of personnel to provide best quality, cost-efficient component repair and industrial support. IOD employs 209 contract and civil servant artisans, mechanics, tradesmen and women. We are the stewards of a $9.3M budget that is used to provide essential contracts, depot maintenance, equipment, specialized aviation material, training and facility repairs in supporting the Coast Guard's Aviation Logistics Center mission.
