While there, I studied rural development, community resource management, forest-based livelihoods, environmental sustainability, and the environmental and sociological impacts of tourism. With a partner under a principal investigator, implemented a field research project, conducted field data collection, managed and interpreted data sets, and communicated research results to villagers, classmates, faculty, and government agents. Research focus: Gender in Traditional and Scientific Agriculture. Richard Glenn Scholarship for academic excellency awarded alongside Dean’s List or Executive Dean’s List each semester. Show less
