  Engineering Project Management – preparing plans and controlling the delivery of new software features. Closely working with two engineering teams in particular (consisting of back-end, iOS and Android front-end, QA and an Engineering Manager), performing a Scrum Master role for one of them as well. Cooperating also with Product Managers, other Project Managers (managing cross-team dependencies), UX Designers and Copywriters in order to streamline the design and development processes and improve/protect the engineering teams' work efficiency.A month and a half after starting in this new position within Avast, I was transitioned to Smith Micro Software as part of a business acquisition, continuing in the same role, ensuring that the roadmap delivery timelines are not affected by the transition/migration.Official work obligations:Leading projects in line with project management standards and facilitating cross functional collaboration.Delivering projects in line with the required quality within agreed time, scope, and budget.Organizing of the day-to-day project work in the project team, providing direction and support to project team.Performing project monitoring and control, taking corrective measures when required within predefined thresholds, escalating if the responsibility thresholds are exceeded.Performing scope change management, analyzing consequences of the change to be introduced and reporting back to project board. The e-commerce flows need to be designed in such a way that they meet the business goals without compromising on high quality UX, while being compatible with the digital products themselves both visually and technically (occasionally I touch up on the interface of the digital products as well).   After being acquired from Avast by Smith Micro, I continued supporting the delivery of new features and improvements of the Verizon Smart Family app. At first, I managed all projects assigned to two full-stack Engineering teams (Quality Assurance included) and I was also their Scrum Master. In a few months, I transitioned to managing all deliveries for the Verizon Smart Family, ensuring a streamlined delivery as an internal project manager and closely supporting the customer-facing Program Manager. In later stages, I was part of the project management team that managed the post-acquisition software migration. Show less
