In this role, I faced the challenge of supporting the increasing number of Ukrainian refugees in need of aid and integration into the Slovak communityMy primary tasks included developing strategies for refugee support, coordinating cultural collaborations, assisting with various aspects of daily life (study, employment, accommodation, finance, health), and organizing events to foster community integration. Additionally, I was responsible for mapping the influx of newly arrived refugees1. Developed an extensive strategy to offer aid and support to Ukrainian refugees, ensuring their smooth transition and integration into the Slovak community2. Coordinated cultural collaboration initiatives between the Ukrainian and Slovak communities, fostering mutual understanding and cooperation3. Provided comprehensive support in matters of study, employment, accommodation, finance, and health, addressing the diverse needs of refugees4. Worked effectively in a team of 10+ individuals, coordinating efforts with over 300 company employees to ensure seamless service delivery5. Created and organized 10+ cultural events attended by 400+ people, promoting cultural exchange and community bonding6. Assisted in the settlement of 70+ families into new homes, ensuring they had the necessary support and resources to adjust to their new environment2. Controlled the perimeter of the center to prevent any adverse situations, ensuring the safety and security of the refugees and staff3. Managed the organization of sustenance supplies for 20+ people per day, coordinating with local suppliers and donors to maintain a steady supply of food and essentials4.       On the first day of the Ukraine-Russia War, there was an urgent need to assist refugees crossing the border from Ukraine to the Slovak RepublicThe primary goal was to provide assistance to Ukrainian refugees. Over the course of one week:1. Adapted to the fast-paced environment2. Helped to set up a food station and organized a consistent food supply to meet the basic needs of the refugees3. Ensured safe transportation for the refugees from the border to designated safe areas4.
