  Worked on the migration of Laing & Cruickshank to internal WM systems. Saw the project go from development till delivery and everything inbetween. I was responsible for a section and governed the testing for it. Very successful migration without major issues. Built my understanding of how the bank worked. Continually market out as strong worker, was nominated as Best Employee in Operations 3 months in a row. Deputy team leader so have some experience of leading teams.

  Using my Network Management experience and myriad of contacts, I moved into UBS’s Change Management area to work on the European Central Bank sponsored project Target 2 Securities, that will revolutionise the post trade landscape in Europe with a single settlement platform and improved functionalities being introduced. Acting as an interface between Target2 Securities guidelines and to developers to clearly communicate user stories that will have to be implemented to meet the new T2S standards. This could mean minor changes when using an Agent bank for a given market or more significant development work when directly connected to a Central Securities Depositary. Using Agile methodology but also familiar with Waterfall/Scrum. Soon to sit my PMBOK exam, following various projects managed in the Network Team.Designing test plans, supervising UAT testing and working closely with stakeholders to agree on testing scope and getting sign off on results. Looking at strategic solutions along with their business cases to see how my firm can get the most benefit out of the various new models that T2S creates. Show less My role is to manage the relationship with Custodian banks across my markets for Cash, Securities and Derivatives. Launching RFPs or market reviews are important responsibilities, as well as ensuring my internal stakeholders are ready for any upcoming changes in my markets. Having a strong network internally and externally are essential for my role.I am currently working on a number of Projects. Assessing the impact of T2S is of the upmost important at the moment as Wave 1 quickly approaches. Regulatory impacts from Two Big Too Fail, FATCA, Basel III and CASS adherence from become a bigger focus in recent years across the industry.
