Includes, records of orders, shipments, inventory, updated price lists and analysis etc.,• Understand strategies for assigned commodities & proactively drive initiatives to meet Sourcing objectives.• Follow-up for On Time Delivery of Fabricated Components and POST ORDER activities from Kick off Meeting to arrange quality inspection • Ensuring, quality inspection at various stages as per requirement and documentation by supplier.• Ensuring Proper dispatch documentation for on time payment to suppliers and resolving issues at site after supplies will be part of the Job.• Monitoring contracts to ensure that the supplier meets expectations and invoices are approved and paid in a timely manner. Actively involves in continuous improvement programs and root cause analysis to resolve the issues.• Co-ordinate with Materials, Engineering, Maintenance team to evaluate current and anticipated requirements to ensure efficient execution from the suppliers.• Interact with QA team and Delivery team to determine if the product meets the quality requirements and resolve quality issues Show less
