      Als Calco MasterClass® Professional ontwikkel ik mijzelf in twee jaar tijd tot volwaardig ICT’er. De eerste twee maanden volg ik een interne opleiding. Na een algemeen kernprogramma, waarin ik kennis maak met de verschillende fases van systeemontwikkeling, ga ik verder met specialisaties waaronder SQL, ITIL en Java Basis . Na deze twee maanden ga ik aan de slag bij een van de opdrachtgevers van Calco met het oog op de gelegenheid te krijgen om over te stappen.

      The eTrading Systems team is based in London and Utrecht and is part of the larger function of W&I. Within this, eTrading systems are responsible for delivery of Electronic Trading solutions to the Markets Front Office Trading and Sales desks. Delivering and supporting predominantly tailored vendor systems to satisfy trading requirements.The primary vendor solution is ION Marketview. The system comprises a wide range of components, from desktop GUI to server side pricing and risk components. This platform supports Fixed Income business. More specifically 5 primary desks: Investment Grade Bonds (LDN), Interest Rate Options (LDN), European Government Bonds (UTR), European Commercial Paper (UTR) and Interest Rate Swaps (UTR). The entire system is hosted and maintained internally to Rabobank. Enhancements can be delivered by the vendor (Ion) or configured by the eTrading Systems team, in both cases the team is responsible for ensuring enhancements meet desk requirements as well as testing and deploying the changes.
