  I have worked on the customer data migration project aimed at seamlessly migrating LOVEFiLM customer data to Amazon. I was involved in extensive website testing as part of migration project. I was involved in performing exploratory testing of Amazon website as LoveFiLM user in order to ensure that the user experience is seamless. I was also involved in regression testing of Amazon website. The main areas of testing included ordering items, cart management, account testing, Prime User features testing, movie rental and buying feature and various other features of the website. I was also involved in testing European version of Amazon website to perform language testing for French and German versions of the website.   I have been involved in functional testing of Sky Set Top Box managed using cloud software. My major responsibilities include:• Work in a lab testing environment using a simulated head-end system to execute test scripts against the Set-Top-Box.• Help to maintain the efficient running of the lab environment.• Help to maintain the efficient working order of all lab equipment.• Communicate efficiently and in a timely manner with technical support when issues arise.• Review test documentation (scripts / software details) to ensure test instructions are clear prior to commencing testing.• Raise defects found against a release of software in a clear & concise manner. • Review defects found with the Test Managers.• Demonstrate an understanding of wider platform defects/ issues (software/ hardware) which may impact on the testing of the software.• Liaise with Test Manager to raise any queries / problems during test.• Attend test planning meetings, as required, to minimise problems experienced during testing.• Ensure any faulty equipment in the test environment is reported to the Test Team Leader.• Keep Test Managers updated, in a timely manner, on any key issues/ risks identified in order that these issues can be adequately managed.• Participate in daily stand-up meetings to feedback to the team how your testing is progressing as well as sharing any problems / issues.• Follow Sky’s health and safety policies and procedures; report any safety issues to line management; and participate in Sky’s objective to be a safe and healthy workplace.• Conduct training with new team members, as required.
