  COPE Health Scholar

  As a COPE Scholar, I assist with basic care for patients alongside nurses, physicians and other members of the care delivery team. This 15 month internship allows to gain firsthand experience in both clinical and administrative health care settings at Mission Hospital. It has fueled my passion for working in health care. But working in a hospital is no joke. Everything is extremely fast-paced, and the stakes are high. To a patient, a hospital can be the most vulnerable and terrifying place to be, therefore I make it my priority to bring comfort, peace, and take time with patients. I am exited to gain first hand experience, clinical knowledge, and perfect my bed side manner. Show less
