Social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Whatsapp was used extensively. This helped the firm to generate sales. Use Farmveda.in to shop. Using review marketing, I brought in many students/alumni from different streams and colleges and requested them to provide a genuine, honest, and credible review for their college on a link provided by the Shiksha.com The reviews uploaded by students/alumni were verified by the Shiksha Team and were further uploaded on their website.I made several cold calls and it helped me gain knowledge and experience worth a lot. The proposed plan for Farmveda was to boost their online sales and get organics reviews for the products on the company's website.As a business development, my job responsibilities were Screening candidates suitable to push online sales - designed brochure, developed Job Description, recruitment and selection of 25 students out of 80 applications;Preliminary training of shortlisted candidates -introduction to the products, website, buying process. How to pitch the products to the potential customers, how to get feedback from them basically helping customers at each stage of buying decision process;Monitoring the students and ensuring they were performing - collecting daily feedbacks of sales from the students, clearing doubts, resolving customer queries, tracking dispatched products, etc;Post-sales job-collection and compilation of sales report, ensuring students get all the feedback on the website after customers have tried and tested the products, designing and distributing all the certificates.
