It is one of the ten largest law firms in the world measured both by number of lawyers and revenue.I spent my time at Clifford Chance with a selection of partners, associates and junior lawyers, which gave me great insight into a number of different levels within the firm. I attended presentations conducted by partners on their specific business areas which gave me a great overview of the different arenas within which Clifford Chance operates.   Football Coach

  I coached and managed the University of Bristol 6th XI, taking part in a local U21 league, winning both the league title and the cup in the first season. The following year we were entered into a local men's league and again came away as league champions. I was also part-time coach of the 1stXI and 2ndXI Women's University Teams.

  GKN plc is a British multinational automotive and aerospace components company, and makes up a huge part of Bristol's manufacturing sector. The site is located at Filton and it specialises in aeroplane wing construction.I spent my time getting an overview of the operation of the Filton plant, spending time with shop-floor workers all the way through to the management team. The highlight of my time with GKN was the investment day at the western approach site where I engaged with top analysts from a selection of investment bodies throughout their visit, giving me a valuable, first-hand insight into the manner in which analysts conduct their research.   International Super Masters/Veterans 5-a-side World Cup Football Tournament

  Tournament Director

  I was asked to organise an international world cup tournament which involved teams being flown in from countries such as Canada, Hungary, South Africa etc. The tournament took place over a weekend but involved around 6 months of preparatory meetings in order to run the event to the highest possible standard. Over 100 people attended and the tournament was a resounding success, which has prompted its members to ask me to be involved again in subsequent tournaments.
