      My research interest was focused around bringing QDs towards application through filling the gap of knowledge about stability of QDs and developing large-scale production processes. In 2015 I was granted an IWT-Vlaio Innovation Mandate in collaboration with Novopolymers NV on developing scalable technique for making QD foils. Since 2017 I was deeply involved in a preparatory work to start QustomDot, a spin-off of Ghent University.

      As a co-founder I played a key role in incubating, starting and growing QustomDot. I am responsible for defining product development strategy, obtaining government funding and coordinating the projects with partners, creating agile R&D framework, hiring technical team, IPR management. Our mission is to realize the full potential of quantum dots by providing customized solutions for next-generation applications.
