  Managed Information Technology Department, 7 Technicians and several outsource Techs, Provided operational management and oversight for internal customer base of 1700+ employees. Provided project budgets and ROIs for stockholders, built RFPs for large Tech projects, managed multiple out-source vendors, managed multiple Tel-Com companies for the entire corporation and Penn-DOT funded highway projects.Few high points:• Served as member of the corporate advance team to investigate, appraise, and audited potential acquisition sites for network compatibility into the WAN. • Provided layout, design, built and maintained 450+ Local Network Nodes at 47 different sites in Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, and West Virginia, utilizing multiple transport mediums / protocols. • Worked with multiple support vendors purchasing major servers, switches and router items to small support pieces, also managed 700+ Cellular phones & data devices.• Secured internet domain names, designed internal fictitious domain names, design and built Active Directory Trees and deployed 500+ nodes, while incorporating an Outlook Mail system on site system. Centralized data collection from all WAN nodes, providing storage with redundant fail over. Researched, sought legal advice then wrote web security policies and protocols.• Managed and physically assisted in the design, build, testing, and deployment of hundreds of stick-built desktop machines as an economic alternative to buying pre-built commercial machines during periods of rapid growth. This action saved the company a measurable $370 per machine placed into service in building over 200 machines.• Managed and participated in the deployment of an Automated Fuel Management System for large truck and equipment fleet corporate wide. This system provides statistical data back to the corporate office for a fleet of over 500 pieces of equipment. Data recovered was Equipment ID, Operator, Hobbs Hours, Mileage, Fuel Type, and gallons consumed.
