  Sieved sediments obtained from various Canadian lakes and analyzed their compositions such as chlorophyll a at Paleo-ecological Environmental Assessment and Research Laboratory under the guidance of the research technician. Incubated Daphnia to assess their vulnerability to road salt applications and identified other anthropogenic stressors that induce Daphnia tolerance (Dr. Arnott). Through experiments, understood the effects of human activities on zooplankton abundance as well as implementing potential proposals for alleviating these stressors towards environmental sustainability.
