Throughout my 10 year service within the New South Wales Police Service I have been allocated a number of responsibilities through various positions within the Police Service, including Informant Management, Service of Warrants and Summons etc. My last 5 years of service within the Police Service was served in a small 3 man station where allocated duties served as an integral part of effective policing in a small station.       To assist Geologists in the collection of grade control data, including but limited to;• Face sampling.• Collection of grade control samples (face, Stope, Sludge).• Drop off of samples to site laboratory and generation of relevant paperwork.• Preparing drives and headings for mapping• Sludge drilling programs• Check for and report dilution issues in ore stope, drives.• Stockpile management (UG & ROM)• Often the first point of communication with geology for UG operators and contractors. • Liaise with UG operators, shift supervisors and Mine Foreman with regards to ore and waste designation of fired headings and stope material.• Liaise with geologists re: heading availability after, firing, bogging and bolting.• Support of geologist in any underground task as required• Data entry of relevant sample, stockpile, stope and heading information (including operator plods).• Diamond Drill site inspections – acceptance for handover to geology from mining.• Coreshed activities, including core mark-up, core cutting, core photography.• Support UG mining crews with logistical support.• Maintenance of UG location name signage.
