Promoted extracurricular athletic activity that fostered skill development, understanding of sports, and appreciation for a variety of athletic activities and programs, teaming, and sportsmanship for students and adults. During tenure, led athletic teams to earn 11 Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA) State Championships in six different sports for the Academy, an achievement unmatched in the school's 60+ year history. Coached U17 Boys team to AAU Junior Olympic Indoor Soccer National Championship in 2005 and U13 Boys AAU Indoor Soccer Finalists in 2006.

I coordinated programming that supported children and youth's physical, social, emotional, cognitive and language development. I ensured the quality and consistency of developmental programming to include the environment, equipment, materials, program structure, curriculum, risk management practices, and oversight and coordination of activity schedules and lesson plans. I evaluated classroom or activity area environments and made recommendations to the Director for the selection of developmentally appropriate toys, materials and equipment.I am a Certified Professional Development Specialist and Military School-Age (MSA) Representative.
