  Recreation Officer

  I spent three consecutive summers working at the training facility for approximately 1200 Army Cadets to provide recreation to youth aged 11-18. I assisted the creation and building of the Recreation Program for the Cadets to provide recreation and entertainment for them in their "off-training" hours. This included day to day activities, and special events.

  I worked both independently and within a team environment to facilitate programs, events and outings for residents of a care facility. This position required detailed scheduling, comprehensive inter-departmental communication skills, and teamwork.

  Youth Mentor

  I worked one on one with disenfranchised youth as a responsible role model in a number of settings, including residential, school, professional, and social. The youth lived with me for a minimum of six months to learn independent living skills, building a strong foundation for adulthood.
