  Child Animator and Legobuilder

  Legoland Discovery Centre Berlin offers children and adults the possiblity to play, imagine and create with Lego. My job was to animate children to engage with play; this included teaching legobuilding classes, a tour through the toy-factory of lego pieces, managing the children's cinema, wearing costume of NinjaGO! characters and organizing small contests in legobuilding. The job encompassed creativity, practicing patience, language skills (due to our visitors coming from all over the world), a love of Lego and elements of acting. Show less

  Project CareTrain by Spelleken Asso

  Teacher (German as a Foreign Language)

  The aim of project CareTrain was to develop a German language course specifically aimed at Romanian nurses in senior care for the German Red Cross. My role was to create and teach an intensive German classes over the course of two months (with preparation time one month prior). Since the idea of the project was to offer German classes in addition to a internship at the Red Cross, it was necessary to design a plan that would enable the nurses to integrate into their job as quickly as possible, but also to pass the telc-exam which grants them the right to work full-time in Germany.   As a lecturer at the Institute of Slavic and Hungarian Studies of the Humboldt University in Berlin my job was to partially design and teach classes of BCMS/Croatian as a foreign language for students of Slavic Philology and students who study other philologies. The classes ranged from A1 to B2. This encompassed design (choice and didactization of materials), teaching and examination with grading (which included the design of exams).

  Language assistant (Sprachassistentin)

  As a language assistant at the Institute of Germanic Studies of the University in Belgrade my job was to design and teach classes of German as a foreign language for students of German Philology and students who study other philologies (ranging from A1 to B1), including a class specifically for students of German (reading/listening comprehension and speaking). This encompassed design (choice and didactization of materials), teaching and examination with grading (which included the design of tests). The class specifically for students of German was a completely original and new programme, designed and taught by me and my colleague. The position of Language Assistant / Sprachassistentin was possible through the DAAD-Sprachassistenten Scholarship Programme. Show less

  As a freelance-lecturer at the Foreign Office I teach BCMS to their employees at different levels (A1-B2) and also impart cultural and political background knowledge. This encompasses design (choice and didactization of materials relating to the students' job descriptions), teaching and examination with grading (which included the design of the placement test for Serbian as a Foreign Language for Diplomats on all CEFR levels).
