      Managed the 2016 Downtown Durham Master Plan Process, including a robust public process that utilized one-on-one interviews, focus groups, and large public meetings to capture the community’s vision for Downtown. The City Council has adopted Master Plan, and it is currently driving downtown policy.Track and measure current and future office space, residential units, retail space, permits, investment, and tax revenue.Built new quarterly report to capture development pipeline and economic development metrics captured in the new databases.Bloomberg Mayor’s Challenge: partnered with the city and the Center for Advanced Hindsight at Duke University to apply for a Bloomberg Mayor’s Challenge Grant. We won $100,000 to use multiple behavioral economic-based approaches to nudge downtown employees away from commuting by single occupancy vehicles. After a successful pilot, Bloomberg has awarded the city $1 Million to continue work. Show less
