      Taught Computer Technology Classes designed for University Students, Faculty and Staff at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Classes included Microsoft Office Suite (including Access), Adobe PageMaker and PhotoShop, Homepage Creation, Internet Basics, E-mail programs, Windows 95 Complete, Macintosh OS Complete, Web Page Design and custom classes on request.Personally established and orchestrated new classes in MS Access, PageMaker, and Macintosh OS. These new classes increased total class enrollment over the scope of employment. Served as Course Reference Manual Editor while working with Technology Education Team to research, develop and update all course materials and class scripts to ensure most current information was conveyed to students.Solved class enrollment tracking issue by creating and implementing an Access Database designed specifically for this purpose.Designed and spoke at campus-wide professional presentations on behalf of Technology Education.       Systems Engineer

      From January 1999 to May 2000, I worked as a Computer Systems Engineer for Compli. I was the program lead for database design that tracked employees, quality, shipping and revenue for all Compucom co-location centers. I worked closely with the facility manager to design and implement the database and was assigned as project lead to research programs that would increase efficiency in dealing with company’s contact information. I co-wrote and compiled statements of work and presented them to clients.In May 2000, I was promoted Project Manager of the internal IT Services Website. While in that position, I composed the site design, workflow and content for the new Services Site, while managing a team to create a website solution integrating all divisions of the CompuCom Operations Organization. I also initiated and designed a web based HR tracking system for Field Operations Group. The project ended in December 2000Starting in January of 2001, I worked as a Software Development Consultant. I oversaw client consultations to design and develop the best approach to meet their goals. I delivered on time applications to clients, using primarily Visual Basic 6, SQL, and Classic ASP.       Worked with a team of three to design the architecture of four complimentary Compliance Management products. The initial application was written in Classic ASP, with the middleware written in C#. Once the product was in place, a complete conversion was made to ASP.NET using C#. The development environment maintained a strict methodology of business requirements, functional specifications, tight schedules and daily builds to ensure that the product was always on schedule, delivering 12 consecutive on time product launches.       As Director of Technology I manage a team of 7 who are in charge of maintaining all of the devices, networking infrastructure and software for the School District. Together we have raised the Department standards and expectations, moving to a responsive instead of reactive team. Other Responsibilities- Budgeting for devices, networking and software- USAC E-Rate grant applications and management for over $750,000 a year in grants.- Implemented Grades K-12 1:1 device initiative.- Implemented Teacher device initiative.- Started a Technology Education Division - Teach faculty and staff how to best leverage District Technology- Implemented an Asset Tracking System- Implemented new Helpdesk software - Created Response/Close time tracking system - Created Site tracking system - Improved service and close time of department- Maintenance of over 9000 asset tracked devices- Implemented a Student Internship Summer program - Able to now maintain and clean every classroom device each summer - Offer 4-7 students applicable experience in the Technology field - Have increased department efficiency each summer since implemented- Test and determine new products for classes Show less As Co-head Cross Country coach, I work with my coaching staff to design and implement standards that drive the success and direction of our team. This involves year round participation on the part of the athletes and the coaching staff to ensure success. Our program also focuses heavily on team building through annual camps and frequent team gatherings on a year round basis. This team atmosphere is essential to long term successful results, and to convey important lessons that can be learned through sports.
