      Responsibilities: •To coordinate the transmission design team for a key customer, taking care of the engineering details and the proposal preparation, in order to achieve strategic company’s goals.•To identify improvement opportunities in customer’s networks and offer solutions according to Huawei’s portfolio, addressing critical customer’s needs and ensuring the proper operation of optical transport networks.•To create and maintain a trust relationship with customer, which could lead to his loyalty, to position Huawei’s solutions in the top of his mind and establish an effective communication channel with him.•To promote the new technology developments to customer’s engineering group and asses the best way to introduce them into customer’s network according to their own roadmap and evolution plan.•To prepare technical and economic proposals in RFx processes, for new telecommunication networks.Achievements: •I designed and sold the new DWDM-OTN metropolitan network solutions for Medellin, Cali and Bucaramanga.•I designed, gave support and closely followed up, the network that integrated the national networks of a major national telecommunication operator to the submarine cable landing stations.•I performed the assessment to insert 100 Gbps channels integrating metropolitan and national networks to achieve an end-to-end transmission network. Afterwards, based on this analysis, I designed and sold the solution which is currently working satisfactorily. •I succesfully breakthrough new products of Huawei’s portfolio, through customer oriented solutions,such as a regional LTE backhaul network solution using MS-OTN equipment and the first 400 Gbps transport network in Colombia. This became one of the first commercial applications in the world and a global success case for Huawei.•I accomplished the sales target with outstanding results during years 2012, 2013 and 2014 (110%, 125% and 135% respectively).       Responsibilities: • To define the planning and design strategy for the transport networks in both Bogotá and national levels, to support the different services of the company, such as Voice, Data and Carriers.• To define the architecture, as well as the support and integration strategy for the different networks and services.• To identify and solve, the undetected vulnerabilities over the current network architecture and propose improvement plans.• To manage the implementation, extension and optimization of existing solutions, including elements from the different networks that give support to current services.• To interact with third parties (other operators, vendors and channels) as it is necessary in relation to the previously stated responsibilities and including the possible negotiation process.• To identify the interdependence with other initiatives and projects from the different areas within the company, and also to identify and collect the diverse requirements related to the business and services.Achievements: • I participated in the elaboration of the transport networks evolution plan, in which the strategy, design policies and architecture of transport solutions was defined for the years 2016-2020.• I did the analysis and presentation of the national fiber optics' renewal plan, proposing, as a conclusion, the renegotiation of current agreements with third parties, and to procure new fiber resources, in diverse routes, to increase the availability and total capacity of the national transport network.• I performed the evaluation for the RFI in which the top DWDM-OTN equipment vendors showed their transport solutions for the new Bogotá OTN network and for the national high capacity network. Based on those results I defined the architecture of the national network, stablishing the relevant characteristics of it, and optimizing the design to ensure the satisfaction of current and future company’s needs.
