  As a Data Center Intern, I was to managing the access to the data center, give daily reports of infrastructure as a whole. I would have night shift under supervision and still be delivering on the tasks the were assigned to me.At the end of the internship, my colleagues and I gave feedbacks and suggested that our department should have a database containing everything an intern should know in order to be comfortable with the environment.My key responsibilities included the following:• Daily maintenance of the server farm premises.• Daily reports on activities at the data centre including logbook update and purpose of data centre visits.• Daily check of the data centre equipment including power and cooling equipment.• Assist data centre visitors to ensure they abide by the rules enforced by management concerning security and access of data centre premises.
