  Multi-Modal Optimization and Simulation Track, Transit-Serving Communities Optimally, Responsively, and Efficiently, University Transportation Center (UTC T-SCORE)• Created simulation model of travel demand in the San Francisco County, CA using MATSim engine to estimate trade-offs between fixed route transit, coordinated on-demand transit, independent ride-hail operators, and other travel modes. Recent Decline in Public Transportation Ridership: Analysis, Causes, Responses (TCRP A-43)• Developed hypothesis and compiled data from several national data sources to capture mode-level ridership changes in each fixed-route transit system in the US during 2002 to 2018.• Estimated econometric models and created visualization using Python to establish the effects of different factors affecting the decline in public transit ridership across the metro areas.Traffic Forecast Accuracy Assessment Research (NCHRP 08-110)• Compiled the NCHRP 08-110 Database and converted the database to Forecast Cards, a uniform data specification for storing key information about the travel forecasts for performance evaluation.• Identified the sources of forecast error and their impacts and estimated Quantile Regression Models for forecast uncertainty, a new approach to forecast risk assessment.
