  Editorial Cartoonist

  I worked for a semester as the Sagamore's editorial cartoonist. I would be given an idea by the editor, and make a few thumbnail sketches for review, have our editors pick out the best one, complete a cartoon, scan it, and clean it up for print, each week. Sometimes I would provide additional illustrations for articles as well.

  I devised and taught a weekly class in Comic Book Illustration, for the Herron Saturday School program. My students ranged from 6 to 30 in age. I worked in the Herron Gallery, monitoring the gallery, interacting with visitors, and installing and maintaining the exhibits.

  I worked for Multimedia Technology Services, which is a division on Clinical Affairs Information Technology Services (CAITS), that is a group under University Information Technology Services (UITS), at IUPUI. I provided advanced technical support to faculty and staff, met with clients on site for presentations, meetings, equipment set-up, troubleshooting, and configuration. My duties included room equipment installation, troubleshooting, configuration, and training, as well as videoconferencing duties. Show less

  I currently oversee the Audiovisual systems at the Eskenazi Health downtown hospital, as well as the Fifth Third Bank Building, and am working to provide support the our area FQHCs and clinics. My role is part of the Event Services team, under the Public Affairs and Communications division. I support meetings, live events, staff technology requests, as well as videoconferencing. In addition, I provide audio engineering and editing of the Eskenazi Health Here For You Podcast, provide audio and video support for the Marianne Tobias Music Program live performances, as well as produce departmental video productions and hybrid webinars. I also provide support for digital signage at the downtown hospital, as well as working to expand digital signage to our area clinics. My role is vary wide-ranging, and I always have a variety of tasks and goals to work towards! Show less
