  Team Rubicon realizes that today’s military does a tremendous job preparing veterans for life after the military with numerous ‘soft skills’ such as: leadership, teamwork, risk analysis, priority tasking and work ethic. However, many veterans leave the military lacking with the ‘hard skills’ necessary to thrive in a tough civilian job market. Additionally, research indicates that many veterans are seeking employment in the social sector, with an emphasis on helping their fellow veterans.The intent of the Clay Hunt Fellowship Program is to develop competent professionals capable of competing in the civilian workforce, and as leaders within Team Rubicon.   I oversee and administer the Alternatives and Caregiver programs which promote healthy and secure lifestyles for Uintah County's growing senior population. I am responsible for leading and managing activities at the senior center, including technical duties related to the planning and organization of daily operations. I communicate with employees, clients, and the public. I ensure that district policies are followed with consistent staff training. I work with the executive director, maintenance director, and county Grant administrator to secure grants. Working with the executive director to oversee the financial functions for programming needs. Ensures the service meets Uintah County's senior needs. Emergency plans are developed and followed. Develop, administer, and monitor the Area Plan and Budget. I act as a community advocate in proposing programs and issues of importance for the elderly. Administer the Congregate and Home delivered meals program. I work closely with the Utah State Division of Aging, the Department of Human Services, and the Department of Health. Meetings with the Utah Association of Area Agencies on Aging. Provides Adult Protective Services and Mental Health programs to protect elderly clients who may be victims of abuse or exploitation. 收起
