Successfully project managed the implementation of AT&T Istel's Theatre Management System that saw significant improvements in managing the hospital's theatre bookings process, enhanced clinical record quality and reduced time consuming manual processes. This was achieved by building on the experience gained in a previous project, forging a close working relationship with a range of clinical, management, clerical and IT colleagues; overcoming a wide range of issues both technical and non technical. As part of a small project team, implemented the AT&T departmental system to computerise the working practices of the X-Ray and Ultrasound departments. This provided similar benefits to the Theatre Management System project already described. Show less

Managed BA's SAP support partners (TATA Consultancy Services), on a frequent project by project basis, enhancing the functionality of BA Engineering's ERP system via incremental changes deployed within a schedule release pattern.Delivered a 3rd party safety system to a warehouse operation, that provides improved management to the Health & Safety of workers, with a consequential reduction in vehicle related damage costs to the business.Successfully steered a business study through to contract signing for a logistics automation project.Managed the development and implementation of a document scanning and retrieval system, allowing for instant retrieval of legal compliance document, as opposed to manual retrieval from an off site warehouse. This has saved BA thousands of pounds worth of unnecessary engineering work, as proof of original work is now far quicker to prove to interested 3rd parties. Document storage costs were cut and legal and insurance investigations are now completed in days, rather than weeks, as documents can be found online.Managed 'proof of concept' project to assess the suitability of SAP Customer Relationship Marketing system, in supporting sales activities for BA Engineering's technical services. On time delivery of an IT infrastructure project that met the customer's requirements, within a tight budget, to support a high profile, new BA route from London City Airport to New York. This route is proving highly successful to BA.Successfully delivered, working with Airbus Industrie, an airborne data exchange system that reduced post flight maintenance delays and thereby increased punctuality and customer satisfaction.Led IT readiness assurance team to validate that systems were able to support the entry into commercial service of Boeing 787 and Airbus A380 aircraft types, identifying any gaps and having pertinent projects to be added to the IT portfolio. Show less Successfully led project stream changing how key operational data was created and stored, allowing for reduced infrastructure and support partner costings. Planning and leading the 'consequential impact' projects to ensure the master project was not impacted.Worked with BA Corporate Security and Amadeus plc to project manage the reverse engineering of a legacy fraud detection system. The replacement system increased the speed of BA being made aware of fraudulent ticketing activity being conducted against it; allowing prompt action to protect BA's profit and reputation. Additionally, the project also reduced printing infrastructure and stationery costs. As part of BA's implementation of the Calidris Revenue Management system, I managed the analysis team for, and offshore development of, an automated data cleansing project that increased the success rate of the online customer check-in process. It achieved this by reducing the percentage of passenger records requiring human intervention at the airport.Worked with same offshore developers (Calidris – now part of Sabre Airline Solutions), to develop an intuitive, leaner data query tool that saved staff time in a wide range of customer facing and back offices. This improved customer service and staff satisfaction. Show less

Building on the staff and corporate experiences gained from a previous 3.5 year long programme, CWT created a new division; to further improve data performance thereby giving itself a competitive advantage. As part of this, I took up a role managing a business analyst team; whose members were in UK, US and Australia. A diverse portfolio of analysis and continuous improvement work was undertaken to the benefit of CWT and its blue chip client base. Lean Six Sigma training to Yellow Belt standard, with an accompanying project, was also undertaken by myself. In November 2016, I had a rare opportunity to pursue some personal goals and ambitions for a year or so, so bid farewell to a great company. Show less Worked as the PMO manager, supporting the Program Director, for a key CWT initiative. The programme lasted 3.5 years and was a multi million dollar programme involving IT development and system rationalisation on a global scale. This role encompassed the full PMO role of finance tracking, change control meetings, monthly CEO level briefing preparation, RAID updates, problem solving, multi-national communications to project teams and any other task necessary to support the program director's aims. The program director was kind enough to provide a LinkedIn recommendation for my work; please scrolls down to the recommendations section. Show less
