Recognized with honors from the New York State Associated Press, New York State News Publishers Association and Gannett, the Poughkeepsie Journal's parent company. Won several Best of Gannett quarterly awards and took home top honors in 2013 for Players. Also was a 2013 inductee into the New York State High School Softball Hall of Fame. In 2014, won an AP sports writing award, quarterly Best of Gannett honors for Players, took second place for yearly Best of Gannett for Players, and also was the winner of the Distinguished Sports Writing award from the New York State Publishers Association.
