  - The primary legal advisor to the Board of Directors of a 28,000 strong, multi-national organisation on a host of wide-ranging legal issues.- Senior Executive in charge of the daily operation of a large in-house legal team, superintending the work of 23 other barristers with direct responsibility for legal advice to the highest echelons of the Naval Service and, where necessary to HM Government (including to Ministerial level and beyond). - Advising on a wide range of legal and policy issues and attendant reputational risks, particularly where politically sensitive or reputationally damaging, and co-ordinating successful responses.- Accountable for legal compliance across the full-spectrum of the Royal Navy’s operations and outputs, ranging from Data Protection and IT Security, through Health and Safety at Work, Environmental Protection to compliance with professional training standards.
