  Project: Cold Flow Turbine Test Facility in Zielonka, Warsaw, Poland (approx. value35 000 000 £)I was a support for the HSE Manager and HSE advisor who were working for BHP Consulting for years including work on National Stadium In Warsaw Project (330 000 000 £). I have learned the highest standards of HSE work from them as well as from the company which hired BHPC to the CFTTF project: Renco spa. Renco, the principal contractor for this project, is an Italian construction company which hired BHPC to coordinate Health and Safety of all subcontractors (about 70 companies eg.: Boccard, AArsleff, Samsung, 1000 employees, peak 150/day). It was very challenging to meet their expectations but also very rewarding in terms of experience gained. After few months of training I was carrying these responsibilities:• Support of the HSE Manager taking over his duties during his absence.• Maintain HSE logs and documents.• Prepare HSE reports.• Provide assistance and advice on HSE issues at construction sites.• Observe HSE regulations, encourage safe working practices, correct all hazards immediately or report them to correct personnel.• Conduct HSE meetings/trainings.• Perform construction site inspections.• Oversee all hazardous activities at construction sites.My greatest success was to implement good and positive Health and Safety culture on the construction site. This results in only one major/specified injury in over 400 000 working hours. My other work successes were:• Build good relationship with workers.• Encourage them to report and notify me about any health and safety issues even if their supervisor was involved in.• Establish clear system of hazards control.• Handle with all of duties in very demanding workplace.
