      Directed the CO2 flood reservoir management efforts including WAG / injection management planning, surveillance, opportunity identification, and prioritization. Extensively mentored a young engineering staff. Developed and delivered the corporate CO2 flood training. Responsible for all business results for an asset team that included a large waterflood, a heavy oil field, and multiple primary production fields. Transferred reservoir mgmt skills to a young Indonesian technical staff. Project manager /engineer for three separate CO2 expansion projects, overseeing project development and implementation. Member of team identifying infill drilling opportunities. Advised and oversaw CO2 flood reservoir management. Developed production forecasts using empirical data and reservoir simulation. Advised and assisted on a wide range of technical and operational issues related to CO2 flooding. Responsible for all facets of operation and engineering for the Rangely Weber Sand Unit and Wilson Creek Unit in NE Colorado, and the Aneth Unit on the Navajo Nation in SE Utah. Areas of responsibility included business results, environmental and safety performance, long term planning, engineering, etc. Company and contract staff totaled nearly 80 and 100 respectively. Operating expenses for 2002 were nearly $50 million; capital expenditures for 2002 were approximately $13 million. Responsible for all facets of operation and engineering for this major miscible CO2 injection project. Leader for a 15-member reservoir management team. This group included engineers, geologists, technical assistants, and office assistants. Primary responsibilities were related to petroleum engineering and asset management, including downhole data collection, development and management plans, and predictions. Advisor on engineering and business issues on a large CO2 flood. Team leader / working engineer on a wide variety of projects including artificial lift optimization, workover reviews, and modeling. Working engineer involved with production optimization and CO2 conformance improvement efforts. Supervision of field operations during the start-up of the CO2 injection project in Rangely. Experience with facility design and operation as well as safety and environmental regulations. Supervision of operations within the Red Wash, Wonsits Valley, Gypsum Hills, Brennan Bottoms fields as well as gas production wells. Extensive experience with well servicing operations. Delineation of extent and content of these major fields. Well testing. Development of completion procedures. Extensive experience with a retrograde gas condensate reservoir and a major sour gas field. Business planning. Development of infill well packages. Design of artificial lift installations. Field data gathering and on-site supervision of workover operations including fracs, acid stimulation & fishing.
