(Applied Video System) - Division of Avesco PLCFounder member and Shareholder of Company created to Design, Manufacture and Distribute a range of Standards Converter for the Facilities and Broadcasting Industry.Responsibilities: From a team of only 5, created and managed a department totaling 30 to 40 people responsible for the Production and Worldwide Customer Support for a range of Innovative, Compact and award winning Television Standard Converters . AVS600, AVS6500, ADAC, TK32,etc.These Standard Converters revolutionized the Broadcasting of live events and between the Europe, North America and Japan.After a few years of success and profits, AVS was launched on the London Stock Exchange as Avesco PLC. In my time with the company, our Converters earned 2 Emmy’s and a Queens Award to Industry. Show less

Customers included NEP, BBC, SKY, ITN, Multichoice (South Africa), ETC.Using Imagine Software Tools such as Navigator, constructed databases for the above, and working with the Project Team at Imagine and the Customers , took the projects from initial proposals to Sign OffAs a Senior Engineer in the Professional Services Department provided support for customers either On-Site or Remotely for the above products .1994 to 2001: Leitch Europe (Tekniche): Customer support Manager EAME.Responsibilities: Management of Customer Support Department consisting of Engineers and administrative support staff.
