The Masters course that began with an introduction to a range of mental health issues, working with children and adolescents, with individuals, couples and groups, using various therapies and using research-based practice. An integral component of the course includes a field placement (a practicum) comprising of 250 hours (both contact and non-contact) that helps develop a range of professional skills, with professional ethics in the practice of counselling.
