      Activities and Societies: Reserve Officers Training Corps (ROTC) Received a Bachelor's in Kinesiology, at the same time I conducted training with ROTC and commissioned into the United States Army upon graduation.

      Tactical director for a FORSCOM PAC-3 Air Defense Artillery Battalion with direct advisory functions and tactical control over four Batteries and one Battalion level command and control Node. Responsible for establishing, supervising and overseeing individual firing batteries training plans, tactical operations, and mission readiness and providing a combat ready Battalion fires center, capable of rapidly deploying and providing Theater Air and Missile Defense. Responsible for the training, readiness, and welfare of 16 Soldiers, six Non-commissioned Officers, and four Officers. maintained the accountability and mission readiness of over $20 Million dollars worth of equipment. Show less During this time period I was assigned to Charlie Battery, 1-43 ADA. Well assigned here I served as the Executive Officer, acting secound in command. I was responsible for the batteries administrative, logistical, and medical support for six officers, one warrant officer, 14 NCO's and 43 Soldiers. I served as the liaison between battery and Battalion levels. Responsible for the command of the Battery in the absence of the commander. Served as the Battery Command Post Officer in Charge, Voting assistance Officer, Unit Maintenance Officer insuring the operability and readiness of over $350 Million Dollars worth of equipment, Physical Security Officer, Crime Prevention Officer in Charge, Environmental Control Officer, Unit Public Affairs Officer. Comments noted by my senior rater during my annual review include "one of the best first lieutenants i currently senior rate" "Has the clear potential to command a battery with distinction under the most challenging circumstances" Show less Upon arrival to Ft Bliss, I was assigned to Delta Battery, 1-43 ADA. Well Assigned here I served as Launcher Platoon Leader and Tactical Control Officer. During this time I was responsible for the daily administration and operational readiness of the platoon; organized and supervised the combat readiness of the platoon equipment valued in excess of $100 million dollars; responsible for the health, welfare, leadership, training, professional development and safety of 17 Soldiers and 6 NCOs. Served as the Battery Trainer for a battery of 72 personnel, the Unit Movement Officer responsible for the transportation of the batteries equipment from the country of Bahrain back to the United States after a year long deployment, and the Environment Control Officer ensuring that the battery adhered to all all applicable environmental regulations.
