      I am currently seeking employment in fields relating to Historic Preservation including: Entry-level Museum collections management, Archival, Cultural Resource Management, Cemetery Conservation, Historian, and Genealogical Research.Course work and basic experience includes, but not limited to:-Cemetery conservation (documentation, leveling, and drilling for pinning broken stones): Attended workshop in 2021 and volunteered in 2022 with Mosko Cemetery Monument Services at the Fredericksburg City Cemetery-Preliminary Information Form (PIF) and National Register Nomination: Completed a simulation for a historic house. Photographed according to NPS standards, researched deeds and tax records, and analyzed construction and renovation materials in the house from 1892 to present-Reconnaissance Survey and Survey Reports for the Virginia Department of Historic Resources: Surveyed the Kelly Field neighborhood in Fredericksburg, Va. to determine the eligibility of the neighborhood for the National Register of Historic Places, or if further evaluation was needed. Photographed and documented houses and structures, as well as deed research-Museum cataloging and inventory: Performed inventory, photographed, and uploaded to Past Perfect objects in the St. James House collection in Fredericksburg, Va.-Museum exhibition planning (research, label writing, graphic design): Collaborated with a team of 13 on a traveling exhibition for the Dahlgren Heritage Museum. Learned basics for InDesign and Photoshop software. -Genealogical research for Fredericksburg, Va. projects and for personal use, utilizing Ancestry, MyHeritage, Newspapers, and other resources-3D modeling for preservation: Used Agisoft Metashape to create a 3D model of a historic corncrib; AutoCAD to create a measured drawing; Utilized SketchUp to create a model of a 18th century, non-extant house using research and Mutual Assurance Policies; and SketchUp and SketchFab to place a Navaho sandpainting into its context Show less
