  The Fullerton Collaborative is a cooperative of executive directors, educators, activists, community service leaders and volunteers dedicated to building and supporting a healthy cohesive community. As an alliance of non-profit organizations and individuals who enjoy making "good things" happen for the community, we are able to provide community assistance where we are needed most. Our unique partnership allows us to help each other accomplish goals.   Led a local initiative to create, fund and implement work force development programs for at-risk teens and emerging adults. Under my leadership, non-profits worked in collaboration to create programming that was approved by the Fullerton Unified High School District to be implemented in their multi-district continuation school. This programming was also offered for free to all teens and emerging adults throughout the city in partnership with The Boys & Girls Club of Fullerton. Over 200 "unique interactions", most of them being long-term, were made as a result of this project, with the goal of future employment as the driving force of our endeavors. This programming also received funding from a Community Development Block Grant for our second year or work. Show less
