      EPAS Mechatronics Summer Intern

      • Developed proprietary steering software for future vehicle features using model-based design• Conducted simulated and in-vehicle testing to refine new software and improve models• Wrote extensible pre-processing software for connected vehicle data analysis

    • Ford Motor Company

      Jun 2021 - now

Within the realm of pure software: algorithm development, DevOps automation tool creation, application of MISRA/ISO 26262 best practices. I have also performed sub-limit vehicle evaluation procedures, collecting vehicle response response data using a high-end inertial/GPS sensor platform. Supporting vehicle dynamics development throughout the product lifecycle for exciting future vehicles, including the Mach-e Rally, as well as existing C/CD-platform programs. Performed subjective ride and handling evaluations both in-vehicle and using a full-motion simulator. Coordinated laboratory testing. Creating new tools to improve the MiL/SiL/HiL testing continuum Supported Design Verification testing for stability control features in-vehicle as a Tier 2 certified driver, as well and in SIL. Engaged in efforts to improve and optimize algorithm codebase. I managed the release and integration of brake controls software into new vehicle programs, monitor production ramp up processes, and perform testing to solve new model launch problems.
